in the inaugural British Poker Open, Adam Dujmovic, the Chicago based half professional poker player, won about £100,000. he defeated the World Poker Champion Greg “Fossilman” Raymer. The event was broadcasted live on The Poker Channel.
Dujmovic was playing poker for more than 6 hours. he later revealed a winning hand and knocked out the runner up Hakon Waerstad from Sweden. Four other finalists of the british Open Poker game were Matt Born from UK, Andreas Harnemo from Norway), Robert Hill and Raymer from USA.
Having £216,000 as total prize, BPO attracted the world’s biggest names in poker. these include Gus Hansen, David “Devilfish” Ulliot, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson and Howard Lederer.
